I’m currently enjoying chasing AO75xx stations, quite a challenge on compromised antennas and <5W but that’s the fun of it, the last time I tried one of the URE events I was QRO and had a good multiband antenna achieving the platinum award!
Well this time I managed Silver, which is 14 Special Event Stations on at least 3 Bands. For me that was 20, 17 and 15M with the later proving the most challenging due to poor propagation to some of the Spanish regions.
I’m looking forward to the next event they put on.
